“I began my legal career in the traditional way, but with a modern twist: I studied law in Romania, earned my master’s degree in law in Switzerland, and continued my legal research in Portugal. Afterward, I spent two years in Romania’s conventional legal system, working in litigation and commercial consulting.
I thus became a member of the Bucharest Bar Association in 2014.
However, I found myself spending more time navigating bureaucratic procedures than actually solving problems for people. I looked around at the traditional legal landscape and thought:
I want to practice law in a way that truly helps people, using a modern and clear approach.
So I moved to Lisbon, where, in 2017, I found myself among communities of digital entrepreneurs and freelancers who were building successful businesses but were facing basic legal questions that traditional lawyers didn’t know how to answer. That’s how I discovered where I could truly make a difference and put my knowledge to use.
In 2020, I returned to Romania and founded Legally Remote—a boutique digital law firm designed to meet the needs of modern business.
"Each service is designed around the needs of SMEs and digital companies: commercial contracts, GDPR, new technologies and data protection, e-commerce compliance, intellectual property protection, and cross-border legal strategy—all delivered with clarity and a human touch."
