About Us
Keeping pace with technology, but with a human touch: practical legal support for modern businesses.
Why Legally Remote?
A brief introduction to our story and how we help digital businesses mitigate risks and scale effectively.
I began my legal career in the traditional way, but with a modern twist: I studied law in Romania, earned my master’s degree in law in Switzerland, continued my legal research in Portugal, and subsequently spent two years in Romania’s conventional legal system, working in litigation and commercial consulting.
However, I found myself spending more time navigating bureaucratic procedures than actually solving problems for people. I looked around at the traditional legal landscape and thought:
I want to practice a form of law that truly helps, in a modern and clear way.
So I moved to Lisbon, where, in 2017, I found myself among communities of digital entrepreneurs and freelancers who were building successful businesses but were grappling with basic legal questions that traditional lawyers couldn’t or wouldn’t answer. That’s how I discovered where I could truly make a difference and share my expertise.
In 2020, I returned to Romania and founded Legally Remote—a boutique digital law firm designed to meet the needs of modern business.
Each service is designed to meet the needs of digital companies: commercial contracts, GDPR, new technologies and data protection, e-commerce compliance, intellectual property protection, and cross-border legal strategy—all delivered with clarity and a personal touch.
